Our office is quiet and almost deserted today. The bosses and some important office people are in a meeting about some important office agenda at an important venue somewhere in Metro Manila (I really don’t know anything, do I?). Today is an almost-petix day — a day that rarely happens to me now. I only had to submit an article to several press release sites, check the status of some PPC campaigns, and the rest of day is PETIX! Yey! With today’s “petix” I mean I can do other stuff online that doesn’t have anything to do with work (blechh!), and maybe spend my breaks a little longer, BUT — I still have to sit here for most of the time and pretend I’m working.. LOL. (Just kidding, mga bossing!). :P

Unidentified Blog Visitors
I can relate to what Mae recently wrote in her blog about her website’s increasing number of daily visitors and yet only a small percentage of that actually gives time to leave their marks on her blog. I’ve been checking my blog’s awstats on a regular basis since the day I established its scrawny feet on cyber soil, in order for me to observe its growth and see if it’s actually going somewhere. LOL. But because awstats is such a limited tool, I switched to Google Analytics which provides a more comprehensive data. For this month alone, I’ve had a not-that-high-but-definitely-surprising number of unique visits (mostly coming from the US, Philippines, Italy, UK, Germany, etc, and some of which are brought here “organically” by the strangest keywords!). This leaves me to wonder if the random, first-time visitors who chance upon my blog everyday do get something good and useful out of this crappy site.. Haha. That answers the question why I suddenly put up a couple of ads here and there.. Maybe I’m the one who can get something good out of them. LOL.

Mae has successfully convinced some of her lurkers to identify (or “de-lurk”) themselves by posting a comment on her latest entry. Myself included. Heehee. Good job, Mae! :)
